How do I quickly prepare a healthy meal? Do I need a fully equipped kitchen to be able to cook?
Many questions arise when you first have to deal with kitchen and cooking matters. What's more, it's well known that students or job starters don't have particularly generous budgets.
To make it easier for these young people to get started in this complex but everyday subject, the École du Goût, in collaboration with the Service de la Formation Professionelle of the Ministry of Education, Children and Youth, offers the optional module ‘Cooking’ as part of the Diplom+ education programme.
Diplom+ is a post-secondary education programme that serves as a further orientation towards higher education or working life. It consists of independent modules with the option of acquiring certified skills.
In just six days, participants in Brandenburg gain basic knowledge about food, cookery techniques and how to run their own kitchen. They also learn how to combine health, sustainability and budget in a practical way.
