On 28 April, the first local event of 2026 as part of the Interreg project FLAVOR took place at the Centre culturel “An der Kleederfabrek” in Larochette, within the Natur- & Geopark Mëllerdall. The steadily growing group of stakeholders received a comprehensive introduction to the project’s objectives and the current status of the work. Dr Rachel Reckinger from the University of Luxembourg then gave a technically sound presentation on the topic of ‘Food Culture & Rural Development’, in which she highlighted key links between food and rural development.
A total of 25 specialists and experts took part in the colloquium. They participated in a lively and constructive discussion, which facilitated a valuable exchange between the speaker and local stakeholders and provided important impetus for the project’s future work.
